Hi Katie and Beau
This is Emma, Sam’s mum. I was wondering if you guys had thought about doing the pre-ordered mystery box thing — people could pay in advance and come and pick up at the markets. You have a big enough selection, and for someone like me who has been shopping for decades, it is great to just be presented with a selection, rather than having to think ahead and choose. There are farmgate groups and market buyers doing it for between 45 and 80 per box, and judging by what I buy at your stall, you’d be better value and better quality. It might mean you could move more of what you have bulk of.
If you decide to do it, I’m in!
See you next week.
Emma
I’m one of your very satisfied customers from the Marrickville Market – your produce is such good quality and delicious and I love shopping at your stall every week. This is the first time I’ve seen your website and it’s terrific. Lots of good information and it is great to see where all of the amazing produce comes from. Thanks for making the effort to bring your wares to Sydney each week and good luck for the garlic harvest!
Thanks for your comments Mary-Jayne
We are picking garlic and planting spuds at the moment. We will be back at Marrickville on Sunday, see you then!

Thank you for the wonderful corn and shallots, they made some delicious corn fritters! (especially grating one on the microplane to create fresh creamed corn to stir through the batter!) What’s the best address to email the details on the bags?
Wishing you and the family a lovely Christmas,
Estella
Hi…..I am another food crazed Orange resident…and I’m looking to buy a few apple crates…..just wondering if you had any or any ideas where I could get my hands on some….Nicola
Hi Nicola, what sort are you after? The larger apple sized ones or what we would call half crates that were generally used for stone fruit etc?? We should be able to help you!
Hi Christine, no we don’t send via mail! Unfortunately we will be selling the last of our Morello’s this weekend in Orange! We won’t have any left when back in Syd on the 19th Jan! Sorry we can’t be more help!
Hi Katie,
Its me, Anna (The Littlest Anchovy) from twitter! My mum is able to get to the markets tomorrow and so I was wondering if you could put 2kg aside and my mum will be there bright and early to buy them?
She will be coming to Sydney on Monday so if all goes to plan I will be able to enjoy your lovely cherries!
No problem at all Anna! What is your Mums name? We will hopefully have a sign up saying The Farm Gate but if we don’t look for the store that has old wooden tables with checked table cloths!
